1) What happens if my scale loses connection to the network?

Both the OptiPro dashboard and the Local Device Manager will display thescale as offline. You will receive a notification indicating that the scale hasgone offline.

Action Steps:
Your maintenance team should inspect and resolve any issues with the scale or its network connection as soon as possible. OptiPro will notify you once the connection is restored. Note: Measurements taken during the disconnection will not be transmitted until the scale is back online.

2) What happens if the computer running Local Device Manager loses its Internet connection?

In the event of a local network outage:
The Local Device Manager will continue to collect and store all measurements locally. Once the connection is restored, it will upload the cached data to the cloud.

Be Prepared For:
A potential surge of notifications for out-of-spec data once the computer reconnects and uploads the cached measurements.

3) What if the OptiPro site itself goes down?

OptiPro’s software as a service (SaaS) infrastructure is designed to be highly reliable, aiming for a standard uptime of 99.5%, often achieving up to 99.9%.
